Smart Home Device System for Dongbu Centreville
VLND designed a comprehensive smart home device series for Dongbu Centreville. By establishing a unified design identity across essential residential devices—including wall tablet, smart home displays, thermostat, lighting switches, and sockets—the collection delivers a consistent and cohesive brand experience. VLND's signature refined details and understated aesthetics quietly assimilate into residents' daily routines, culminating in a neat lifestyle.

Unified Form Factor

A softly rounded square silhouette is consistently applied across the entire lineup. This approach mitigates the traditionally cold appearance of electronic devices, offering a warm, sophisticated aesthetic that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding walls. By removing unnecessary elements, it enhances the space with a minimalist aesthetic.

Subtle Elevation

The delicate curved surface formed from the sides to the rear creates an optical illusion of the devices floating lightly when wall-mounted.

Seamless Digital Experience

VLND team executed a fully integrated GUI design that mirrors the physical product's sophisticated aesthetic. Every digital interaction point—from the custom-crafted UI icons to the typography and layout—was meticulously designed to create a cohesive, intuitive, and highly refined user experience.

Intuitive UI

Complex decorative elements are omitted in favor of clear typography and minimalist icons. Large-scale numbers and dial-centric graphics allow residents to intuitively adjust temperatures and control their environment.

Visual Simplicity & Contrast

The matte pure white body and the deep black glass display create an elegant visual contrast. This visual simplicity enhances the interior design while maximizing the legibility of on-screen information.
